I’m a little backlogged with writing my blog posts so when I came across this entry, I had to think hard about what I remembered about this restaurant. Bara Sushi is a newish Japanese restaurant located on Sixth Street in New Westminster.

Iwasa Sushi (Tokyo 2016): Omakase and Chirashizushi at Tsukiji Fish Market

For any sashimi connoisseur, a trip to Tokyo wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market, the largest wholesale seafood market in the world. We had heard that there were plans to move the fish market in November 2016 (our planned trip to Japan) mainly because the market occupies a large section of valuable real estate in the Chūō ward (centrally located in the heart of Tokyo), but the move was fortunately postponed.

Umami Sushi – Cloverdale Crossing

I found myself out in the Cloverdale Crossing area back in October and decided to stop here for some lunch. If I knew that there were sushi places like Umami Sushi in Cloverdale, I’d spend more time out here.
