Pho 68: Pho Dac Biet in Burnaby
Pho 68 (don’t ask me where the other 67 are) recently opened up in South Burnaby.
If you’re not sure what type of pho to order, a good bet is usually the “dac biet” which is basically the house-special pho. The Pho Dac Biet ($11.95 for large) comes served in a massive bowl with thin rice vermicelli noodles and is laden with steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, fatty flank, and beef ball. There’s a good amount of fillings here for the price. While the pho broth wasn’t overly flavourful, I thought it was a pretty okay version.
