Soirette: Holiday Cookie Giftbox and Lunar New Year Gold Cookie Tin

Christmas time has long since passed (exactly 2 months ago!) but memories of the Holiday Cookies that we picked up at Soirette this past year still remains with me… as do the extra pounds they created around my waist.

Soirette’s Holiday Cookie Giftbox ($42) came with 9 scrumptious varieties for a total of 24 cookies and fully decorated and packaged in a festive Soirette gift box. Check out the cookies that were included:

5 Stack of Cranberry and Pistachio Sablées
2 Chocolate Hazelnut Surprise
2 Walnut Butter Cookies – resembles chinese walnut cookies bit flaky on top
3 Dark Chocolate Rosettes
2 Matcha Shortbread Xmas trees
2 Gingerbread Snowflakes
3 Raspberry-filled Spitzbuben Cookies
2 Pecan Sandies
3 Alfajores with home made dulce de leche

Lunar New Year also just passed (interestingly exactly 1 month ago) and we picked up their Gold Cookie Tin! Soirette’s brand new Lunar New Year Gold Cookie Tin ($42) comes with a nostalgic mix of sweet and salty treats! It comes fully decorated and packaged in a beautiful gold tin. They are adorned with beautiful ribbon, and an ancient Chinese coin. 22 cookies in total for each box, and it includes:

5 Black Sesame Rounds
5 Salted Egg Yolk Surprise
5 Walnut Cookies
5 Almond Crunch
2 Pineapple Tarts in the shape of little rats!

These made a great treat (personally, I preferred the holiday cookies) but I heard that they were flying off the shelf so it’s a good idea to order ahead of time.
