Krispy Kreme (Abeno Q’s Mall): Osaka 2017
If you go back just over 11 years ago, there were no Krispy Kreme doughnut shops in Japan. Now, there’s over 40. I suppose they’ve really embraced the whole western fatty food culture. Not that I’m complaining at all.
We were doing some shopping in the busy Abeno area of Osaka when we came across this Krispy Kreme in the Abeno Q’s Mall.
As we were here during the holiday season, they had some special Christmas doughnuts available. We picked up the Happy Banana Tree (250円) and quite enjoyed this triangular-shaped doughnut with banana filling (apparently, banana filling is a big thing over here).
The store was quite clean and the staff working there were friendly. Not sure why there aren’t more Krispy Kreme stores in Vancouver.
