Morak Korean Fusion Restaurant – Revisit
We were looking for some eats near Metrotown one weekend and decided that we should revisit Morak since we enjoyed our previous meals there (take a look at our last visit here).
Like on my prior visit, we had the Hot Pot Bibimbap with Beef Bulgogi ($10.95 lunch special). Along with our meal, they brought out the usual banchan (crunchy bean sprouts and broccoli, kimchi, and potatoes).
This time, we also ordered the Garlic Oil Fried Chicken with Fried Rice lunch special. The salad dressing was a bit spicy (tasted like it had a bit of horseradish in it). The chicken was perfectly fried with a crispy exterior and moist meat on the inside. There was a plentiful amount of small pieces of chicken but I felt that the rice was just plain, fluffy rice (it didn’t seem fried like it said in the menu description).
On a side note, I almost got locked in the bathroom… the door knob was a little wonky. After a couple of tense moments when I started to think that I would have to break the door down, I finally got it to unlock properly.
