Milestones Grill and Bar (Crossroads) – The Cookie

One of the things that I like about Milestones is that, although they are known for their bellinis, they also serve a number of tasty non-alcoholic drinks like their Real Pop – a blend of pineapple, orange, and pomegranate juice with a splash of soda.  It’s a very tasty and refreshing concoction.

On this night, I chose to go with their Top Sirloin with Crab and Shrimp in a lobster butter sauce.  It comes with a Roasted Garlic Caesar Salad for $27.99.  This is great if you like garlic as you get big cloves of roasted garlic in the salad.

My steak was cooked perfectly to a medium-rare and topped with shrimp and crab pieces (although I thought it could have had more crab in the topping).  This was a very satisfying dish with the mashed potatoes.  If you’re looking for an even more tasty steak, you can try their Beef Tenderloin from their Top Chef Canada menu – it was extremely melt-in-your-mouth-yummy.

If you can’t decide which dessert to get, try their Dessert Shots… mini versions of their White Chocolate Cheesecake, Caramel Gingered Apple Crisp, Break-Up Tub, Ganache Torte, and Key Lime Pie.  The torte was a little too sweet but the cheesecake was really good.

Of course, if you want a really great dessert, you have to try The Cookie – a huge, warm, double dark chocolate cookie topped with rich vanilla gelato, caramel and chocolate sauce.  Careful, you can gain 5 lbs just by looking at the following picture.
